Free Speech and Big Tech

In the information age, Big Tech has built and controls what has become the de facto town square. In recognition of that role, they are not held liable under current law for content that users create. At the same time, Big Tech has proven all too willing to smear those with whom they ideologically disagree via biased and counter-factual “fact checks,” and to arbitrarily delete, remove, or shadow ban creators. ACLJ Action fights for free speech, holding Big Tech accountable for politically motivated censorship and lack of transparency.
