Demand Big Tech Help Parents Protect Their Kids

Parents – not Big Tech – should have the final say when it comes to their children.
Meta recently agreed to new protections for teens on Facebook and Instagram, including overnight restrictions, limits on notifications during school hours, daily time limits, and stronger parental controls.
It’s a major step in the right direction. But protecting America’s children can’t stop with Meta.
TikTok, YouTube, and other powerful technology platforms must give parents the tools they need to protect their children online.
Our kids shouldn’t be left at the mercy of addictive algorithms and billion-dollar tech companies with virtually unlimited access to their attention.
Parents deserve transparency. Parents deserve control. And Big Tech must be held accountable.
ACLJ Action is demanding that technology companies put the safety of children and the rights of parents first.
