PASS THE PARENTS BILL OF RIGHTS

The family is the fundamental unit of society, and parents have the inherent right to determine the best education for their children based on each child’s unique needs. They also must be free to exercise their First Amendment right to advocate on behalf of their children or to criticize school employees, administrators, or policies without fear of government investigation and harassment.

H.R. 5, the Parents Bill of Rights Act, recognizes and codifies the essential rights of parents to review school curricula; to voice their concerns to the local school board and educators without fear of retaliation; to see their local school’s budget and spending priorities; to protect their children’s privacy; and to ensure their children are safe on school grounds.

Tell Congress To Pass the Parents Bill of Rights.

The pandemic exposed the rot in our education system. Teachers, administrators, and school boards are more focused on liberal indoctrination than delivering quality education. Time and again, parents have been told they have no right to protest and have even been targeted by the FBI in an attempt to silence their voices. The teachers unions tell us to trust them to make decisions regarding our nation’s youth and that they are the “experts” who know how to prepare our next generation to lead our country into the future.

Parents who spoke up have been tracked, targeted, questioned, and even arrested.

The Republicans in Congress have heard the plight of parents across our nation. H.R. 5 will guarantee the fundamental rights of parents to know school policies and to provide input in key decisions regarding their children’s education and well-being.

We need you to stand up and be heard so every Member of Congress knows they must protect parents and children. Please send a letter to your representatives in Congress today urging them to pass H.R. 5, the Parents Bill of Rights Act.
